俶腦惘

Indigenous Supports

俶腦惘 is about celebrating the languages, cultures, and traditions of Indigenous, M矇tis, and Inuit students.

We blend cultural worldviews into our curriculum and offer Indigenous-specific programs. Support services include counselling, tutoring, help with college applications, and a welcoming social environment at Enji Maawnjiding, the Where We Gather Indigenous Centre.

Here, education and life go hand in hand. Youll have access to Elders, Indigenous professors, and instructors, and you can join your Indigenous Students Union. We offer scholarships, bursaries, and awards just for Indigenous students. Community is key, so dont miss out on student events, feasts, the annual powwow, and the Sacred Fire Arbour.

The Indigenous Education Council (IEC) is an advisory council to the Colleges President and Board of Governors.

Enji Maawnjiding, the Where We Gather centre was built as a gathering place for Indigenous students, supporting shared learning, cultural exchanges, and mutual support with special events.
The fire arbour serves as a site for spiritual ceremonies, teachings, and community events. Wiigwaasgamig, meaning Birch Bark House in Anishinaabemowin, reflects traditional teachings and the arbours design.
Get assistance with academic related decisions or get access to short term counselling for personal and/or mental health issues.
Drawing on the communitys strength to create a stronger voice, we recognize that community building is community-based, community driven, and community directed.
